This is a collection of the creative work of Dan Hapton and AITCH Design Ltd. It is presented without hierarchy. A doodle is next to a laboriously assembled sculpture. A building is no better than a rude styrofoam maquette.
We have been obsessed with categories; what they are and how to challenge them. Categories form the basis of our assumptions about the world. Disrupting them works against norms and biases. It opens us to creative territories—vague, strange, and other. We like things that lurk just left of consciousness for at least a few reasons: they creep us out, they make us laugh, and they might just be something new.
